Dining Room Windows with a View

This dining room had one small window facing the street. The entire corner of the house is now a new set of windows that overlooks Cold Spring Harbor to take advantage of the beautiful view.

Paneled Music Room

The built in niche spaces and detailed mouldings of the paneled wall around the fireplace mantle and windows in this music room are made of poplar and painted white. The light and shadows of the curves of the paneling and painted wood make this room especially beautiful.

This homeowner kept the feel and charm of her Bay Shore Queen Anne home with period restorations throughout the interior spaces. This dining room's wallpaper, top border and chairrail trim add to the Victorian theme. The crown molding finishes the effect. There is a "secret door" wallpapered into this room that leads to a butlers pantry. We made the custom hanging window coverings from antique stained glass windows.

Home Office Remodel

This Islip home office is compact and highly functional. The custom built in shelves and storage look original to the 75-year old cape, but are designed to house file cabinets and CDs in plentiful drawer space. A custom matching wooden radiator cover connects the storage units, and crown moulding ties them together to the ceiling. The original old wooden windows were stripped and an old door stripped and converted to a pocket door. A "floating" L-shaped desk peninsula provides plenty of surface area, without restricting leg room. A custom monitor stand pulls out and pivots to provide ergonomic comfort. The keyboard drawer and wires are mounted under the desk for a clean and comfortable work space.

New Homeowner Updates Living Spaces

This house had a few walls moved, new Pergo floors installed throughout, fresh coats of paint, crown and base moulding and new light fixtures. The final effect is an entirely new look.
